Article 44. The Organization will conduct the following business in order to attain its purpose under Article 18 (Purpose of Organization):
(1)To conduct the development, management and transfer of green belt zones and other buffer areas based on the program for improvement around the airport and in accordance with the planning for improvements around the airport;
(2)To conduct the development, management and transfer of lands for the use of facilities the functions of which are not adversely affected by aircraft noise, in accordance with the planning for improvements around the airport;
(3)To conduct such business as listed in the two preceding subparagraphs of this Article entrusted by the provider of the airport for environmental improvement or by the local pubic body;
(4)To conduct the development, management and transfer of any land to be utilized for dwelling with regard to those who intend to relocate from their dwelling in the first class area of the environmental improvement airport, in accordance with the planning for improvements around the airport;
(5)To conduct the necessary business to ensure the realization of the plans established for improvements around the airport;
(6)To conduct the necessary business regarding the compensation for loss arising from the removal or demolition of buildings, etc. under the provisions of Article 9 paragraph 1 (compensation for removal), and also to pursue the necessary functions for the purchasing of land under the provisions of paragraph 2 of the same Article (purchasing of land), in accordance with the directives of the provider of the airport.
(7)To conduct such business as is incidental to the business listed in each of the preceding subparagraphs
(8)To conduct the necessary business to attain the purposes specified under Article 18, in addition to the business listed in each of the preceding subparagrapbs.
2. The Organization may develop green belt zones and other buffer areas around specific airports, in accordance with the directives of the provider of the airport or a local public body, in addition to those businesses as specified in the preceding paragraph, provided, however, that such activities are limited to those which will not cause disturbance to any of the specified businesses.
3. The Organization shall, when it intends to conduct such business as specified in subparagraph 8 of paragraph 1 above, receive the approval of the Minister of Transport.
